Composing on a Steinway upright!Patrik Berg-Almkvisth, LUCHS

Patrik Berg-Almkvisth is a composer and performer from Stockholm, Sweden, known by his musical project name LUCHS. Born into a musical family, one of his earliest memories is falling asleep under the grand piano his father played in church each Sunday.

After studying at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and the theatre at Calle Flygare Theatre School, Berg-Almkvisth built a dual career in music and acting — from productions at the Royal Swedish Opera to voice acting for Marvel and Disney. This deep understanding of storytelling is audible throughout his music as LUCHS.

The Steinway Upright K-132 has greatly advanced Berg-Almkvisth in composing and in his connection to music. He calls it the best investment of his life.
