Steinway & Sons, manufacturer of the world’s finest pianos, is delighted to announce the appointment of Guido Zimmermann as the new Vice President & Managing Director for Steinway & Sons Europe.

Guido Zimmermann will join the leadership team at the beginning of March, succeeding Werner Husmann who will retire after a prodigious 50 years at Steinway & Sons. Guido Zimmermann will work in company with Manfred Sitz, Vice President & Managing Director Europe since 2013, who is planning to retire in the first quarter of 2018.

Zimmermann has a long track record of success in Sales and Marketing, serving in various senior positions for Montblanc during the past 14 years. His love of music, passion for quality and business acumen promise to help Steinway & Sons grow its European business in the years to come. Guido Zimmermann will be based in the Steinway & Sons headquarters in Hamburg, where the prestigious grand pianos have been hand crafted since 1880.
