On 24 June 2024, Steinway Artist Víkingur Ólafsson performed Bach's Goldberg Variations on the stage of the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg – and for the first time, the concert was transmitted live into the homes of Steinway Spirio owners and to Steinway showrooms across New York, London, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Milan, Madrid, Munich and Hamburg.

This event film documents that milestone evening in full: the atmosphere of the Elbphilharmonie, Ólafsson's commanding interpretation of Bach, and the quiet revolution of Spiriocast technology, which captures every nuance of hammer and pedal and reproduces it in real time on Spirio pianos around the world.

The Icelandic pianist – lauded by the Daily Telegraph as the new superstar of classical piano and compared by The New York Times to Iceland's Glenn Gould – delivered the grand finale of his international Goldberg Variations tour to an audience that stretched across continents.
