Patience and precision

Damper preparation involves numerous steps that must be carried out carefully and to perfection. The team cuts felt, glues it on, hammers wires, and double-checks each damper head to make sure the material is ready to be installed in the grand piano. It is work that demands patience and grace, as hurrying could lead to inaccuracies.
