STEINWAY & SONS SPIRIO, the world’s finest high resolution player piano, welcomes the holiday season with a host of playlists for Christmas including an updated set from David Benoit of Charlie Brown classics, including the return of our Charlie Brown Christmas SPIRIOSYNC video.
New Christmas tracks also arrive from YouTube sensation Francesco Parrino, including a SPIRIOSYNC video of George Michael’s “Last Christmas”.
Frédéric Chopin, the most revered composer of piano music, also contributes to our holiday offerings with a tour-de-force arrangement by David Shenton of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” that incorporates elements of each of the 24 Etudes. Chopin’s Waltzes are also a featured playlist in a new set performed by Simon Mulligan.
Lang Lang returns this month with a taste of his latest project, Bach’s “Goldberg Variations” and Zhenni Li plays a new set of Chinese Classics. We complete the Beethoven 250th anniversary year with a Best of Beethoven playlist that features a new performance of the Sonata in F major, Op. 10 No 2 from Antonio Pompa-Baldi, who also adds another Sonata to his collection of works by another pianists’ favorite, Muzio Clementi.
