19th international Steinway Festival
We are happy that the 19th International Steinway Festival took place in Hamburg from August 26 to 29, 2021, after it had to be cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic. With great pleasure we welcomed young talents and their families from Belgium, Cyprus, Italy, Switzerland and Germany in Hamburg to celebrate a very special festival.
Although the group was smaller than usual, the mood could not have been better. An interesting programme like harbour trip, the visit of a historic piano exhibition or the experience of local and non-local food — the international exchange the festival stands for was perfect from the very beginning. The festival concert, which is the highlight of each festival, took place in the Steinway factory in front of an exclusive audience. Such an extraordinary concert location will definitely remain in the memory of each young talent.
