“My first ever encounter with Steinway pianos was during the Steinway Piano Competition held in Hamburg in 1988 when I was only 8 years old boy. Since then, I was dreaming of having my own Steinway at home. After long 18 years of waiting, I finally got the "super piano" I always wanted and now enjoy spending hours and hours of intimate music-making. The instrument gives me constant inspiration and constantly challenges me to produce even more beautiful sounds, colours, depths of tone, harmonies and nuances. I always loved Steinways' clarity, beauty and nobility of sound, wealth of dynamic range and colours. When performing on Steinway, I feel that the piano is my best friend, great team-mate as well as rival and gives me endless possibilities and inspiration for creating special musical moments. I am honoured and feel privileged to practise and perform on Steinway grand pianos. November 5, 2006”
