Unique Steinway pop-up store in the Alsterhaus Hamburg

Steinway & Sons is opening a globally unique pop-up store in the Alsterhaus on Jungfernstieg. The motto of the particular area is „Made in Hamburg“. In Hamburg's most traditional department store, the manufacturer of high-quality grand and upright pianos is honouring its only production site besides New York, which has existed since 1880. Visitors can experience the brand in an exclusively designed lounge that invites them to enjoy a relaxed experience of its instruments' high sound quality and outstanding aesthetics. The focus is listening to music through an authentic-sounding body and enjoying the Steinway craftsmanship, exquisite materials, and classical forms.

The highlight of the presentation is the unique Spirio | r technology developed by Steinway & Sons, which makes it possible to listen to recorded music as a perfect reproduction on a grand piano, regularly also as Spiriocast, the unique live format from Steinway & Sons. The instruments and the Spirio system are continuously demonstrated and explained in the pop-up store. Visitors can also win guided tours of the factory in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld and tickets for concerts with Steinway & Sons instruments in the Elbphilharmonie.
