On 20th June 2019 more than 2,000 guests paid tribute to star designer Karl Lagerfeld in a fulminant show under the motto “Karl for Ever” at the Grand Palais in Paris. In this context, the Steinway & Sons concert grand piano “The S.L.ED.” was presented – a Limited Edition which Karl Lagerfeld designed on the occasion of Steinway´s 150th anniversary in 2003. Star pianist Lang Lang played Frédéric Chopin´s “Grande Valse Brillante” and enjoyed being part of this unforgettable memorial event.
