Spirio SPOTLIGHT
AUTUMN THEMES AND HALLOWEEN, ’80s POP, THE APPASSIONATA, AND ALFRED CORTOT
STEINWAY & SONS SPIRIO, the world’s finest high resolution player piano, offers a seasonal playlist for autumn and music for Halloween, including new tracks from Danny Elfman’s score from Nightmare before Christmas, performed by Simon Mulligan.
We continue our Rock Rewind playlists with a 1980s set, featuring new performances from Las Vegas pianist David Osborne, who revisits the music of Styx, The Cars (in memoriam Ric Ocasek), A-Ha, Taylor Dayne, Spandau Ballet and more.
The great French pianist Alfred Cortot is our featured STEINWAY IMMORTAL this month, performing his signature Chopin — here, the Waltz Op. 69, No. 1 — in a SPIRIOSYNC video of the artist from Paris in 1943.
And we are pleased to present the Chinese pianist and composer Zhen Chen this month, returning to SPIRIO with a collection of classic and original works influenced by his Chinese heritage.

YOUNG-AH TAK
Our exploration of the essential classical repertoire continues with a thrilling performance of Beethoven’s Appassionata Sonata from the sensitive Korean pianist Young-Ah Tak, as well the Schubert C minor Sonata, D 958 and the Brahms Op. 119 Pieces from Ukrainian virtuoso Stanislav Khristenko.
